Dear Bungie, I'm leaving.
It's not me, it's you.
Having been with you since the Alpha, I was in awe of the promises you made and the changes you sought to bring. When the Beta came, I was a little perplexed at some of the changes you made, they seemed to give the game the advantage over the player. Figuring you knew what was best, I stayed quiet.
Then Day One came, and I soon joined the rest of the world in your creation. And I was further dumbfounded. More changes has made the game seem like it was a masochistic master, and we were sadistic players who didn't know any better. You began forcing US to play YOUR game the way YOU wanted it played. Weapons were weakened and enemies hardened in order to draw out the gameplay of Destiny. Multiplayer was imbalanced in that those of a lower level than the rest have the advantage. Leveling up to level 20 in 12 hours was a joke, but leveling up to 30 in 12 weeks was a flat-out insult. Forcing us to only select one exotic armor piece to wear was extremely annoying, especially when that was all that I received on my drops. To this day, I have still yet to get an exotic weapon, and I don't see that happening any time soon. Your willful disregard for letting us have matchmaking available on the VoG and Crota's End sent a clear message: only go with your friends, who if you're lucky might be on or playing this game, or waste your time scouring the internet looking for randoms who criticize you even though you've made it abundantly clear this is your first time with that raid.
So thanks, Bungie. Thanks for the bullet sponges. Thanks for the often frustrating, broken loot system. Thanks for the shallow storyline for the game, and most of all, thanks for the blatant disregard to the players. It's clear your are more concerned about your game than actual player needs.
So, just like any abusive relationship, I'm taking control and leaving.

I still can't see how LFG is any different to matchmaking. I found a great clan and now I can do CE every week because these guys roll all the time and are great teachers.

Well... You lasted a long time for a single game. You probably logged a lot of hours. I hope that along the way you made some friends and had some laughs. 4 RepliesI love bungie to much to up and leave them. So what if they made a game that wasn't full of flavor. Bungie has its up and downs but they do look out for those who support them. Bungie is not gonna change the game for one person leaving that's something you gotta realize.

Alpha is just a test to get an idea of what people like, NOT a final representation. So in saying that I too played beta and I througlhy enjoyed it. But again you wanted no changes to occur.
