Best sunsinger grenade?
Just started my sunsinger this weekend when xur sold HoPF and I have just unlocked the third grenade. Now that I have all three unlocked I'm wondering which is the all around best for PVE and PVP when combined with radiance, praise the sun, and gift of the sun. Any thoughts?

Personally I use the solar for ce abyss the firebolt for Pvp and fusin anytime else

Fusions are nice because they stick to the target. Solar are great for crowd control and for keeping people off Control Points in PvP (especially if you're wearing Sunbreakers). The Firebolt is also really good for PvP since it will knock people's shield and a good chunk of health down with little effort. It's not so great for PvE. I personally use the Fusions when I'm Sunsinging.

As others have said, it is all situational. Sticking with a fusion grenade does the most direct damage. Solar is very useful for controlling enemy movement. Firebolt is good at spreading damage to a group of enemies quickly. When you stick one enemy with fusion, the others tend to dive and duck away, whereas firebolt immediately hits multiple enemies.

Depends Making orbs against low tier enemies- fire bolt Crowd control/abyss/confluxes/any time you need to hide in your grenade for cover- solar Damage dealing/high level enemies- fusion

Firebolt with viking funeral and touch of flame + praxic fire is complete over kill

Fusion are the best all around. If I'm losing a firefight in PvP I stick em with a fusion. At the least it's a guaranteed revenge kill beyond the grave (as long as they don't have armor buffs like radiant skin, arc blade activated etc) and once you have praise the sun unlocked, just go to a boss, combine it with radiant skin and see if you ever did that much damage with a nova bomb.... Not that voidwalker isn't awesome, lol I just have better sun singer gear.

Coming from a good warlock it just depends. I think te worst is solar but flare and fusion is a Toss up. Fusion is insta kill of stuck but no promises on a stick while the flare grenade is not one hit but is really hard to miss and with hotpf and radiance you can throw tons

My Warlock is low leveled, but I use the Solar Grenade. Is great for controlling zones in PvP.

Fusion is great. If you can learn to not kill yourself with it. Now that I have had both for a while, I don't see the big fuss with Heart of praxic fire. Id rather run Starfire Protocol with the burn damage on. Goes right through shields, stops knights in their tracks.

Fusion is ohk in pvp and is pretty tracky. Firebolt is easy spam and 2 hk. Flare spam just irritates the crap out of people. I prefer firebolt in pve just cause its forgiving of aim and creams groups. Radiance plus fusion is lots of fun on sepiks. Flare just makes everything scatter.

All are pretty good but the fusion grenade is the best for PVP.
