how badass would it be if we were able to create our own gear?
From dismantling gears we don't want
To weapons we don't want. To items we pick up from the land, what's more to say then to allow a system to where we could make our gear. Not only will this be creative BUT importantly it'll give our guardians more personality :D with the raids and all the gear is awesome but it gets old. Me personally always liked to look different from the series of halos.

It'd be interesting if dismantling a equipment gave you one of it's perks, as a random drop, that could be used at the gunsmith to craft something. Unique perks and upgrades would have lower drop rates, but wouldn't be impossible to get. So you could have a full auto fusion rifle with bonus damage to oracles and a chance to return missed shots to the mag....but only after dismantling several of the same exotics and raid weapons
