WTF Post 1.1.1 Patch 4th Horseman Nerf
Did anybody on PS4/PS3 notice that after the recent 1.1.1 patch last Wednesday, the 4th Horseman exotic shotgun got one of the worst nerfs a weapon has ever received? Well it did. I'm not big on shotguns in Destiny, but the Horseman was really the only one I liked to use on a regular basis. So needless to say, after the PVE shotgun buff, the 4th Horseman was the first one I tried out. But, to my disappointment and anger, I found out that the Horseman took an extreme nerf that was never announced in the patch notes or even hinted to on one of Bungie's previous posts. The Horseman had its fire rate reduced to less than a quarter of its original. It also took a huge reduction to stability, putting it down to the smallest amount available. The Final Round ability doesn't even appear on the weapon card anymore. The 4th Horseman was perfectly fine before the patch. The range at base was already horrendous, but the fire rate and stability are what made up for the bad range. Not to mention that it had pretty decent impact too. It was a shotgun worthy of calling Exotic. But now it's almost unusable. I don't know if these changes were intentional on Bungie's part (because the 4th Horseman changes weren't mentioned in the 1.1.1 Patch Notes) but they need to be fixed. If any of you have any additional info to give me on this subject, please leave a reply.

2 Replies4th horseman was [b]not[/b] worthy of being an exotic pre or post nerf. Trust me. Wanna know how it really should've been? Exotic perk that allows each of the four barrels to fire a seperate shot at the same time, allowing for quad shots in one shot. Imho*.

I was very upset too when I found out about this nerf. I found out the hard way after I was in the face of a cabal enemy and tried to put him down using the thunderer perk. I end up getting shield bashed into oblivion...

I've noticed it doesn't auto reload on kills for me as well.

Found this on bungie MY 4TH HORSEMAN STATS ARE INCORRECTLY LISTED After update 1.1.1, the 4th Horseman in-game stats do not match the patch notes provided by Bungie. The original changes were overwritten during integration, and modified the stats. Thus, the current Rate of Fire, Inventory and Stability for this weapon were incorrectly updated. We're aware of the issue and are actively working on a resolution.

Just recieved mine from reaching cryptarc rank 9 in a legendary engram. But this is not an exotic by behavior . Got a legendary shotgun that out performs the horseman Damn it looks good as a weapon,maybe something for a trophy case

It used to be the fastest firing shotgun thats what made it exotic now the fastest firing shotgun is the invective which beats the fourth horseman in everything but impact, and clip size

Yes me too, I love the Horseman but now it's impossible to work with, I looked for ever to see if the changed it but couldn't find it anywhere. Also I have a bug where my special ammo is half of what it should be so I've started using Invective instead. I want the old Horseman back!

I noticed it too. Pretty pissed since I just fully upgraded mine and it was my new favorite exotic after the last word. Fire rate is atrocious which is what made it so great. Bump this and keep RE posting until it gets known. This is complete bs it should've been mentioned if it was intentional! With your permission I would like to RE post this in the forums so more people will know. I was gonna post myself but figured someone must have noticed

Noticed this too. This has now been unhappily repurposed as a dust collector in my vault until fixed.
