Social idea for the Tower

Bungie! You could assist us in finding suitable candidates for our raids with one simple integration at the Tower. With the Tower being the only in-game social hub, it'd be nice to go to the Tower and know who exactly needs raiding done by just looking at their guardian. Allow us to "set raid status" by doing something like, bringing up our ghost and setting an icon floating above our heads. (like how our lvl is displayed) This icon would indicate which raid and what difficulty we need to complete it on. (You decide what the icon would look like) If you don't like that idea you could also integrate it into the GAME section of the roster that you see in the start menu OR integrate it within the "inspect player" menu, it'd take a little more time to find out what the player needs done but it'd be a whole lot quicker than messaging people individually via xbox/ps4 messaging apps or by having to hit up Destiny LFG. If you also happen to dislike that idea, I don't think it would be impossible for you to set up a robot in the tower (one like the map robot or like Xander 99-40) who would display a roster of who is currently in the tower and a raid status connecting to their name indicating what raid&difficulty they need completed like I stated above. There are so many possibilities Bungie! Getting a raid going can be a very rough process, this process needs lubrication asap or else I will continue to get discouraged even when I have the motivation to get a raid done. I don't know if someone has already pitched this idea but if you like it, please express freely if you'd love for Bungie to put something like this in the tower. I know I would!!

  • I would be happy if the "invite to fireteam" had a reason pull down — Raid, Nightfall, Strike, Story, Patrol, Crucible that would show up in the invitation. I, due to my circumstances, do not have time to do Raids usually. I get invites, and would like to team up for things other than Raids or Crucible. Often I join a fireteam, but they are wanting to do Raids (or worse are already in a raid), and I have to leave. I wish there was some way to know what someone wants help with before accepting an invitation.

    • How about on the bounty board you can list your guardian like on one side it shows your regular emblem, grim score and level icon (not sure what the whole thing is called) and next to it a short sentence on what there looking for like raid, nightfall etc. then someone looking for more peeps to raid with can search the board inspect your gear and invite individuals.
