I had an idea where your guardian can explore the city below the tower and find orphan kids and adopt them bring them to the tower and tell them stories of their adventures like killing atheon or crota. And they could find things by exploring parts of the city like some glimmer or maybe they mange to find an engram. But you know add a little personality to your guardian like they can be randomly generated (the kids) and you could choose the kids that's been on his/her for their life or the one who was just abandoned and in the next game you could play as one you spent the most time with. Tell me what you think and add things to this that you think are good ideas
