I feel that the marking ability needs a buff. It's barely useful, but it can be improved with a simple mechanic that already exists in the game. I suggest also highlighting the target in a green aura that the entire team can use to see the target through walls. It would be just like the red aura the enemy that kills you recieves, only green. This would also be very useful on the Swordbearer in Crota's End (who is always hiding) & during Inferno Crucible, when we have no radar.

So you want to make this gun the best gun in the game right? That would make it an assist machine and a permanent "UAV". This isnt Battlefield where you can just tag everyone.
-
How about if the marked target takes increased damage from all members of the fire team or raid group.

I think it should do DOT like thorn. That will make the target green alright. And create a lot of additional butthurt across the forums in the process lol

Yes, I've thought this myself. Hopefully it wouldn't be too much coding.

Stop comin up with good ideas. You do know they are illegal at bungie.

Need to blow up when killed or a dot. I use fang for crucible its beautiful but I don't use the mark.

Or marked targets receive 2.5-5% extra damage from fireteam members.

My favorite part of the target marking ability is it resets the mark with every bullet so if you're rapid firing that thing at max fire rate and finger pull you never see the mark anyways. It's amazing how flawed it is.
