About the gjallahorn. You have single handedly created a game that has become those who have ghorn and those who don't. The community openly discriminates against those who do not have ghorn, as if not having ghorn instantly means you have no skill.
Was it your intention to create a discriminatory environment?
It would be one thing if there was a bounty for it where everyone has a means to get it. But it's completely random...or is it? I have seen players who have been on destiny for two weeks get it and yet many others that have been playing since day one not ever get it. and I have seen players who have had 5 ghorns while others none. It seems there is a system in place where it's actually not possible for a set number of players to get the ghorn drop.
What is the real truth behind the ghorn and the loot system in general?

The lottery has winners, most people don't win, yet people play the lottery every day. Ghorn is the jackpot. Their owners are the "1%", it's just how society works. I wouldn't blame the developers when their main concern was "look at how awesome this looks"
