NERF SHOTGUNS ONLY SCRUBS NEED THEM WITH NO GUN GAME
What kind of PvP game is this? What, you don't think there's enough 1 shot kills in this game? Rocket Launchers, Supers and worst of all shotguns. You call that PvP? Socom was the only real pvp game that actually required some skill where you have to actually aim consistently with a weapon. NERF THE DAMN SHOTGUN !
Why Nerf the damage on the assault rifle? One of the few guns that you actually have to aim and consistently keep your cross-hairs on target to kill someone.
Pathetic, Destiny is the worst PvP game on the planet I kick myself in the butt for spending $100 on this game. Can't wait till HHour comes out. Socom remake baby. Destiny is Trash!

They just nerfed everything, are we still complaining... Special weapons are all op just skill your way around it. Or better yet try a shotgun out...

If you came here to complain about how you can't counter shotguns in a game that gives you a TON of options to do so. I can only imagine how arse you are at socom.

Shotguns counter is the range. Try a scout rifle like b line trauma or a hand cannon or a pulse rifle and don't get in close with a shotgun user. It may be a game but the shotgun tends to make a mess of things when it's used on a living creature. Makes sense for it to be a one shot kill within 5-10 feet. Camping is the issue I think with this complaint.

U must really be bad in crucible to come back here and complain like that. Pick one up and use it. Stop complaining about everything. People asking for nerfs and buffs is the reason that this game is screwed up right now

Small maps = short range murder. The length of the jumps makes close range work imperative. Play your corners or get a decent handgun. That will silence that shot gun ache

Uh in almost any fps game...shotguns are one hit kills up close...COD, Battlefield, counter strike....list goes on..will never change in any fps game.

Don't use shotguns, fusion rifles or hand cannons. While you're at it, you're a scrub if you use sniper or auto rifles. Even more, if I see anyone with a scout or pulse rifle, I will quit immediately because I don't play with noobs. That about covers it.

Thank you for your feedback everyone. Feel free to sit here and comment all day as I'm done with this topic. Clearly I've lost the battle to the majority NOOB poops on destiny who will sit in those corners and hold their shottys close. Oops forgot about good old blink and pull trigger or slide and pull trigger for automatic kills while you get pumped with numerous head shots from an auto rifle and somehow live through it.

I've actually been killed more by Snipers and people using either the Vex or SUROS. Surprisingly enough (unless it's a small map or Rumble) not a lot of people use Shotguns. This is on the 360 BTW.

2 RepliesThere are a couple shotguns with ridiculous range, besides those, you have to get up close and personal to kill without getting killed so I'd say that takes more skill than anything else sir.
