Hey guys tell me how this idea is for armour? You know how we have raid armour and iron banner armour to get us to lvl 32? (Ps I think all iron banner armour should get you to 32) NIGHTFALL ARMOUR, sets of legendary armour that you have a chance of getting for completing the nightfall, with unique bonuses that relate to the nightfall modifiers, this gives level 32 options to players who prefer running strikes to raids all the time. my first idea is to use the playstation exclusive armour, (see image above) as they look awesome, but nobody wears blue armour, they should make it (non exclusive) legendary nightfall gear, sort of like iron banner armour, but to bring to full 32 idea 2: a way to make this armour viable compared to other armour is the perks on them, they actually help with different nightfall mods ie, • backup reserves: when you start to run out of reserve ammo, this perk starts to replenish it slowly (made to combat juggler, probably won't work with heavy ammo) • Combat Reflex, dampens enemy melee damage by small percentage (5-10%) (made to combat light switch) • life support (also a weapon perk, transfer to armour): increases reload speed when health is in red. (perfect for clutch saves) • Arc/solar/void shield: reduce arc/solar/void damage taken by 10%. (Made to slightly counter enemy damage buffs) • Radiant Light: increase exp and rep gains caused by the radiant light bonus given from completing the nightfall (found only on class items, 5% bonus?) These perks are random and can be used to create a truly custom loadout. Idea 3: slight buffs to the effects of radiant light. The buff gained from after the nightfall, basically the armor (possibly just class item) would increase the exp gained by small percentage. Idea the 4th: shout out to Kashmir for helping me come up with this, what if each piece of nightfall gear you could get, would give you certain perks based on the modifiers on that nightfall strike! What would be a better story to remember? saying I got boots from running from thralls in the abyss, or that I got an epic pair of boots from valus that gives me the perk backup reserves? Or that I got a chest that had the perk combat reflexes? Tell me what you guys think, would this be a great idea, should it be implemented? Can deej finally look at one of my ideas? I put a lot of effort into this, and I also realized something that could suck, the RNG factor of getting it, now before you all throw up your hands and yell noooooo! We already get legendary weapons from the nightfall, maybe it should just be the same drop rate, another piece of RNG would be the different rolls that you would get on each piece of armor, making them truly niche and personal loadouts!
