Look, there are plenty of us Destiny players who have come to this game to experience it with others. We joined this experience with the dream that we would be by our friends' side exploring and ravaging in the world of Destiny, having laughs and victories and deafeats all along the way. But the major appeal of most fps multiplayer games is MULTIPLAYER! Now this post looks at no other problems of Destiny but the system that is used by players to interact. I belive that many of the problems players face right now (in matchmaking , in knowledge, and in plain boredom) can almost be completely solved if this solution were to be used. I believe this so strongly that if this solution were undertaken, I believe even alot of the major problems of Destiny (like the story) could almost be overlooked becasue of all the benefits this solution would bring. Now I am no video game designer but to me this solution seems pretty simple. Let me now present it: ----EASILY ACCESSABLE, OPEN COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PLAYERS---- Create a system in which all players of Destiny communicate through voice and typing chat, rather than only allowing six people at once chat and making it difficult for them to find each other unless they were already friends in the first place. This is , I believe, one of Destiny's ultimate solutions to its player interaction problems. Example: Dust 514, a free-to-play ps3 fps game has done this through the use of CHANNELS. They use a radio type system(within the game) in which any player can "tune" into any channel (if they have its name) and can voice or chat on it ,with the other players in it, while they all play. So its kindof like a mass trucker station, but waaaay better. This system has kept this game alive for 2-3 years by keeping the players connected. In fact, most of the players I know from that game that joined played Destiny, went straight back to Dust because they were missing that Real community feel, in which its absolutle a walk in the park for people to find new friends and hang out.
