Lvl 20 what now
Hello fellow gamers i got a question i bought this game 4 days ago so iam kinda green behind the ears i lvled a hunter to 20 now but what iam suppose to do now i hope some of you have tips for me best regards me ^^

1 ReplyNow you spend your life trying to beat the raid with a load of people who won't help you... Sorry it's a harsh community sometimes, however there will be a few bright stars out there willing to help remove the green from your ears. But let me warn you, don't turn into one because you will be ridiculed for it. Stay at 31 if you want to get along with everyone hahah :) Good luck, I would go complete bounties till vanguard is up to level 2 then buy some gloves or boots... Then keep grinding till rank is up to 3 and buy something else after Tuesday... Keep grinding strikes and hope for drops...

1 ReplyWelcome to the grind! My recommendation is to do the daily missions and strike playlists to get rare (blue) gear and marks to buy legendary (purple) gear so that you can level up.

1 ReplyGrind and pray to RNGuses. Start by buying vendor gear which will get you to high enough light levels to run raids. Start by replacing your lowest light level piece of gear that is not a helmet (since you will be using an exotic in that slot in all likelihood). You can earn marks by playing activities and you will need them. Grind the crucible and the strike playlist for commendations and marks. In a week or two you will be able to start to be play endgame content if you play correctly. Good luck Kinderguardian.

You can get some legendary gauntlets from the Eris quests (expansion required). Once you hit 25, start doing VOG raids. You can also get other legendary armour from your vanguard through bounties but if you start doing the raids before you get a full set, you will have the experience and weapons required for later stages Which console are you on?

Grind for armor with light when your 26/27 start doing raids first vog when your 29/30 start doing crotas end you will be 32 in no time

5 RepliesI'm going to disagree with my esteemed colleagues here. Do not level up any blue armour if it requires any armour materials such as sapphire wire, hadronic essence or plasters plating as these will be in short supply for you for some time, instead focus on vanguard and crucible and earn enough reputation and marks to buy legendary armour and then level that up. I believe helmets are most expensive so consider buying an exotic element from xur instead and use marks for the cheaper stuff Good luck

3 RepliesAlright. First off, congrats! From level 20, you need to start getting "light levels". You are technically the highest "level" you could be right now. Light levels are something that you get from armor. Rare (blue) armor. Sometimes these armor will have a stat of them that's called "light" the higher the better.These light armor could be found in most blue engrams, legendary and exotics. [b]this is your simple answer^ From here on out i am giving you some tips on leveling up[/b] You best bet right now is to try to get blue armor and I'll give you some times what to do after that. After you've obtained your armor, you should be s higher level. This is the part where you have full blue armor, all of it is leveled up and you want to continue. In that case, you will want legendary armor (purple engrams and items). Start leveling up your vanguard and crucible reputation and start getting vanguard and crucible marks. This is the best way to approach it. You'll buy all your gear. And now, this is where you have full legendary gear. You can buy an exotic from xur, exotics are the rarest items in the game. XUR comes every Friday-Saturday and he brings good loot with him. You can buy yourself an exotic. And by this point you will be a level 31 :) If you want to be maxed level currently, you'll need the DLC and need to do the raid. Raids are the hardest things in the game, a 6 people situation. Doing raid could give you raid armor. Raid armor has higher light.

4 RepliesYou will start finding armour with light pretty much everywhere. The more light, the higher your level. The amount of light on a piece of armour is displayed with the amount of discipline etc... As you get to higher levels you will start unlocking things like raids and weekly strikes. These will generally drop weapons/armour/upgrade materials. When you upgrade the defence of a piece of armour you increase the light level that it carries. Light only appears on rare/legendary/exotic. I hope this helped and reply if you need further clarification :)

Then on Tuesday this resets back to zero so you can earn another 100 vanguard marks from tuesday for the week - but you only need 150 vanguard marks to buy a legendary gun from your Vanguard guy. Legendary armour cost 75-125 I think each - you need four, but one can be an exotic from Xur. Use the destiny public event tracker to see when events fall - you can often do a few events on earth then if there is a spare 15 mins before the next event check the moon as one might be happening there before going back to earth. Destiny public event tracker - http://destinypublicevents.com You also occasionally get a strange coin from the tower package for your first public event - so they will gradually add up so you can eventually buy a exotoic gun or armour. YOU MUST be Vanguard level 3 to buy Legendary Weapons and get a Vanguard Commendation (these are given when you go through each vanguard rank ie 3,4,5 etc.) - if you are not Vanguard level three then fastest way is do the daily bounties as they will level you up quite quickly. SLOW WAY: - when you do a public event and it is gold you get 4 vanguard marks - but if it is the 1st event of your day then you also get a package in the tower which gives you another 2 vanguard marks (so 6 in total) and a mote of light/shard/coin. So that is 6 for the first gold public event of the day - then do two more public events that day - this gives you 4 more vanguard marks per event. So in total that is 14 vanguard marks a day for 3 gold rated public events. This means 98 vanguard marks every week for just three public events a day. Tiger strikes - one after the other get you 6 marks per completion - so when you are ready for them they can fast track your vanguard marks as well.

Do strikes or crucible to get armor with 'light' in them which will increase your level, once you are level 26 you can start the raids.
