Hey Bungie,
Long time member and Group owner. I administrate a large private group here that acts as a placeholder for our own website, giving people a chance to gather teams and help each other complete objectives. Members who may not want to join another website to get that done, can always use our group here at your site to accomplish this.
I have noticed a small issue that I am hoping this can address. Since we have our own website, and have been a community for almost 6 years now, we want our more active members to represent us online in Destiny. But with a cap on the amount of people who can wear our "clan" tag online, I run into a problem.
I am not asking for this cap to be raised. Bungie always has good reason behind their decisions and the cap I am sure is no different. But, with so many members requesting membership, it is very hard for me to sift through individual names and accept members one by one. This goes back to wanting to have our more active members represent us online, and not someone who just joined that day. There is limited space, so we choose to do it this way.
What I am asking, is to add an option for Admins to send out invites, rather than having to locate the request in a sea of sometimes 1000's of messages in my inbox. At one point I had over 1500, and our veteran members were getting a little frustrated that I could not accept them, even tho they are more than qualified to represent us online. It would be much easier if I had an option to locate the player here at the site, and send out the request to that player.
Thanks for the consideration. I am aware this may only be a problem for larger communities and private groups here, but it may make things easier across the board.
Thanks for reading,
