Dont really have a question, just a thank you...
I know you guys have caught a lot of flak, pretty sure this open house will make it worse, but I want y'all to know that some of us genuinely appreciate the work you have put in. The game isn't perfect by any means, but you've all laid the groundwork for a new type of mmo-ish game on consoles. Been a bungie fanatic for years, was there when H2 revolutionized online matchmaking in ways we still see today, and I'll be proud to have been here when people look back and say that Destiny proved MMO inspired gameplay can work on consoles.
I look forward to the next game, seriously. I mean no insult when I say this game is the beta for a whole new type of gameplay, and I'm damn excited to see where it leads, as a story as well as the foundation for future games beyond just Destiny and Bungie.
Seriously. Thank you all.
Oh, and if I have to ask a question... can you guys send me an Xbox One? I'm too broke to get one, myself... too many family medical bills. ( I know the answer is no, but worth a shot, lol)

Agreed. Too many people complain about what they dont have instead of being thankful for what they do, and a lot of the time the complaining blocks out the good ideas coming from smart gamers. You guys are doing a fine job and i know you will pull all the kinks out of this game in due time. People don't seem to understand how hard it is to deal with rude consumers. Thanks Bungie, and also thank you DeeJ for taking the time to reply to this mans post. Even though you weren't talking to any of us, I appreciate the little things like this:) have a good day sir.

Bungie Thank you so much for this Fantastic world you have built. You have taken FPS gaming to a new height i never thought imaginable. You all work very hard and it shows every day i log in. I have but one request. Dont give up on us. I have played many a games and i have had a very deep connection with the world you have created. I almost wish i can have my own Apartment or loft in the tower to decorate in my spare time or even a guild hall that we can use as a common area for all of our Clan members to go and hang out .

7 RepliesA very well put together response. Destiny does in fact have many flaws that I can't overlook, but I'm hoping that Destiny 2 will build over those flaws into something amazing. Odds are I'll buy it simply because of that. I highly doubt Bungie will try to make the same mistakes they did here. Glad to see someone say that they actually do enjoy the game. If we didn't enjoy it, we wouldn't be here asking to improve on it. I personally have put countless hours into this game and I very much did enjoy it. It simply was lacking depth is all. It's been said before: Mechanics? Amazing! Story and Purpose? Not so much :/

I agree, I live this game! Destiny is so very unique, the ability to work harder to get better is very appealing to me. Rng makes sense. We're am so used to having specific ways to get what we want, and until recently, you really had to find out for yourself. But now, Google makes that impossible. So Rng makes players never know what you're ganna get! I love the anticipation. Even if atheon only gives me a helmet and a ship. Love the game, keep up the good work.
