What seems broken to me is. I have 3 32s different classes. all exotic gear for each class, and am missing 3 exotic weapons. The Gjallarhorn is the only exotic i want to get out of the 3 i am missing yet, ive gotten atleast 8 dragons breaths 3 truths and countless other useless exotics.. Can someone tell me what am i doing wrong? ive played since day one. and im tired of grinding out for something im not going to get..

5 RepliesEver roll a 10,000 sided pair of dice? That's what you're doing in Destiny. Every time you complete an activity, you roll for a chance at getting some loot. Not every pair of dice is the same as other pairs as well, they can be different depending on the encounter. You have Crucible dice, VoG dice, Crota's End dice, Iron Banner dice, VOC Strike Playlist dice, encrypted engram dice, vanguard/faction/crucible package dice and much more. Each one has a specific set of possibilities which can also vary depending on difficulty. When you're playing Destiny, you're not doing anything [i]wrong[/i], you're just playing. When that perfect roll comes up, you'll reap the rewards accordingly. Until then, enjoy your time :-)

It's all random. I got 3 suros doing one run of normal crota. I also got that Crap primary sniper on every character or the nightfall one week.

It's all about chance, just like rolling a dice. There is no guarantee that you get the number you want. Nothing you can do but play.

It's impossible to ask for it RNG is deaf but it remembers what you've gotten and it will try its best to give you what you already have and what you want.

Nothing is necessarily being done wrong, it's just luck, try doing the Gorgons chest on hard and it should do something, try Atheon, death singer, and Crota they all have a pretty decent chance of dropping, I surprisingly got my ghorn through crucible and I didn't even know what it was then(2nd month when game was out)

2 RepliesJust got mine today from killing the Deathsinger on Crota's End. We had a good drop. 3 of us got exotics. The other two got Hawkmoon and Icebreaker.

It depends on the activities i think an example is doing the gorgon chest vs the ROC your more likely to get exotics from the gorgons chest preferably hard mode

Me too. I have had this game from the very day it was launched, fitting in at least 4-5 hours of play almost every single day since launch. I took part in the beta too but still, I have never once used a single GH on any of my 3 level 31 characters. The one time it was publicly available was obviously one of the rare days that I was out and did not play. People say it's a random drop but why do the other exotics seem to drop over and over again. Xur seems quite happy to never sell it, instead bringing all the stuff that has already dropped several times. I just gave up on it after a while and am quite happy using Truth now.

I've got 4 but I'd gladly give some away. I want the vex but doesn't seem to drop for me.

RNG. I have one and don't really need it as I don't do raids..... RNG is fun for so long,then it really just makes the game boring and frustrating. All exotics should be on sale from a vendor for something like 200 coins each. At least dedicated players like your self have a. Chance to grind it if you choose,or if it doesn't drop whilst you are working towards it.

Your doing nothing wrong the loot is RNG. You just haven't gotten lucky enough to get it yet.
