DONT USE COMPANION APP TO SWITCH GUNS! *Must Read
If you use the companion app to switch guns and ect... You will soon be hit with weasel and it won't go into act right away but after 10-15 it will keep weaseling you making it unable to play. :( I wanted to complete all my Nightfalls guess that will have to wait for another day. I am not the only one experiencing this everyone else is too read the "Help" form section. Like cmon bungie get your shit together it seems like it's something new with this game every week.
Edit: This is happen more commonly now it's on reddit it's has to be a bug brought by the new patch.
Edit: I advice guardians don't transfer exotics/Important stuff from vault to character until the companion app is stable. Don't wanna lose that beautiful Ghorn.
Edit: With all you Guys & Gals help It seems to be that this glitch is happening to ever 1/4 of the community so a good majority aren't being hit. I will be home from work soon and will make another edit to check if my destiny will let me complete a nightfall. And keep the comments coming and likes hopefully Bungie will see this and send a mentor here to help us guardians out.

Yea I got this error code. I find it helps if you completely close the destiny app after you've used it, then I seem to get no problems.

8 RepliesI have been getting the error, but I have noticed I only receive it in orbit. It states you can't use it in a combat zone either. So that might be the case for you. Safe to use in the tower and really handy.

I sent some Helium to my character, I got weasel a few minutes later. I rejoined my fireteam and didn't have any issue after that.

I'm having this problem. The game is almost unplayable for me. Had to delete the app and reinstall and older version. Hasn't completely fixed the problem but it's a bit better.

I'm on PS4 and Every Time I use the App while playing the game it disconnect me from Destiny with an error message. And when I say Every time I mean Every time...

I haven't had one problem, been working instantly. I actually dismantled a few weapons now they it's so easy to switch, no need for most duplicates. Keeping an icebreaker for each and a few others but vault space is to important to waste on duplicates

I have never had any problems what's so ever with my connection to Destiny(PS4). I got the weasel code 5 or 6 times last night and a few more times already today.

The only times I got disconnected was when I tried to move a gun to my active guardian in between crucible matches. Got kicked back to orbit on both occasions. But while i'm in a match or anywhere else worked just fine.

7 RepliesEdited by virtual agony: 2/27/2015 5:18:55 PMjust did a quick scan and all the people on here that have reported issues are on PSN. there are a few on PSN, on here that have reported no issues as well. no XBL users, that i saw reported having issues. judging from this quick scan it might be more of a PSN thing than the app/internet. this is just a quick scan, not trying to start a console war, even though i know it will.

I switched in game, out of game, from character 1 to character 2, vise versa, and pretty much rearranged my vault and it's worked like a charm.

Love this app improvement! Quick change of gear is absolutely the type of useful functionality that a companion app should have. Kudos to Bungies periferals development team!
