Vault(able) Items' Inventory Space (Semi space expansion Idea)

[u][i][b]Short version:[/b][/i][/u] Pool character inventories into one shared inventory for anything that can be exchanged with the vault. (Example: instead of 10 primary weapon slots on all 3, have 30 slots that are shared across all 3. (Does not include bounties or mission slots) [u][i][b]Long version:[/b][/i][/u] I have seen people ask for more vault space and found I myself, without raid items, among them. details below, solution/suggestion under bold text. I can understand why more space for items may be an undesirable idea on the developers' end when it comes to server storage space, and thought of a solution I thought I would put out there for others (and developers) to see and think about as a possible solution. I myself have yet to attempt a raid (aside minimal solo exploration of entrances, so no raid items) and yet, have found with a few exotics, and legendaries to pair appropriately, that my vault is full. I like to use any & all of my weapons across my 3 characters (as well as materials and consumables) and find it difficult to keep all the weapons I will be switching around depending on what I am playing, available in my vault. [b]Vault Space solution:[/b] A thought I came up with, that for the most part, should satisfy many players desire for an effect of more available space, without actually requiring more storage space on the server, would be to triple character inventory space for some items that could be placed in the vault (weapons, consumables, materials) THIS SPACE, would be the combined inventory space of all 3 characters, giving the characters a shared inventory and not actually requiring more server space for more data, this could be applied to any inventory slots that can share items through the vault currently (mission & bounties are excluded from this idea before anyone asks) This Idea would give players a more casual experience, allowing them to use weapons they earned on any of t heir characters without requiring them to make a trip to the tower. (side note: this new inventory setup would function similarly to your vault, being tied to your account, not your character, therefore if you delete a character, no shared inventory items are lost)
