Never bring Iron Banner back. Unless...

This marks the fifth attempt by Bungie to bring what was supposed to be a PvP Elitist dream. A game type where level and gear were supposed to matter. Where all the "hard work" obtaining max gear and exotic weapons would pay off. Clearly this did not happen. This is my list of things that must be addressed if you ever truly decided to bring this event back for a 6th time. - First and for most, this whole 3 level equality needs to go. If Iron Banner is your elitist PvP game type then those that achieved max level should have the clear advantage and not put 30, 31, and 32 on the same level. You say well what about the non dlc owners? They don't want to pay then they stay at a disadvantage. Save a dollar a day for 3 weeks. - Weapon damage ,at least to me, makes absolutely no sense. I'm left wondering wayyyyy to often, how did that person not just die? A point blank shotgun shot will leave my opponent with half health all the time. How does this happen when people are one hitting me with shotguns from 15 yards out? - Connections. This has been a serious issue in crucible for a long time, but worse in IB. How is someone allowed to play an entire game in red bar and not lag out? I've put 4 golden gun shots into people and they proceed to magically kill me and 2 of my teammates then 15 seconds later die from my first golden gun shot. Something must be done to recognize a bad connection and boot then out. Players with good connections should not be penalized. - Map layout. I've seen other complaints about this, but at least for me this is kind of a minor one, but it will lead into my next point. Everyone knows B 95% of the time is a must have point in any capture the point game type. My problem is A and C should be equal in value, not having one being more of an advantage due to spawn or level layout. - Teammates. 85% of the time I feel as if every game I play is a 6 on 1. Going negative is fine, as long as you contribute in all other areas of the match, which almost never happens with the players I'm paired with. Map layout comes in to play here because you made control the game type, which is not a very smart choice for IB. People don't understand that when they capture A or C they just spawn trapped our entire team and if the other team realizes, it's already game over. That is if my teammates are even attempting to capture a point. - Matchmaking. My god what has happened to matchmaking over the years. Having me being put into games that have not only already started, but my team is down by 5000+. Not just one or two games every now and then, but 3 or 4 in a row. How am I supposed to rank up my rep or complete bounties for wins and first blood when I'm not given a chance. You say your given a token for extra rep with each loss. They max out at 5. - Character and weapon abilities/perks. IB is supposed to show case the best of the best when it comes to PvP players. Not the best weapon perks. Where's the skill in using a weapon when the perk does all the work? To make matters worse, the devs nerf guns based on player usage, when we're forced to use these weapons because they have the best perks. Seems hypocritical. - Supers. Once again where is the skill in using a super, or panic super, in order to gain a few easy kills? IB should be void of all super use. You want to stop me from taking your point then see who's the better shot instead of flying in and using a super. If you truly want IB to be what is was advertised to be then drastic changes must be made. Once a player chooses IB they should have to select their weapons from a selection of base line weapons with no perks. Once their choices are made they enter matchmaking. Supers are disabled and clash is the game type of choice. Penalties should be issued for those that leave early. If you quit 2 games in one hour you should be banned from PvP play for at least 30mins and maybe even suffer a loss in rep since you most likely cost the players you left behind rep. This is all just my opinion from everything I've experienced in my time playing crucible over the course of 5 months going on 6 now and the IB events.   • Map layout can't be a fixed because Bungie forgot how to make PvP maps. Look at Reach and Destiny. Halo:CE maps were great. Halo 2 were fun as hell and well balanced. Reach was atrocious and so lazy and Destiny maps have very little balance. When you spawn on a team and say fck because you know what your in for, that isn't a well designed and balanced map.
