Destiny: Rated M?
With an M rating, Destiny could've had much more satisfying kills.
Sure, some enemies explode when killed with headshots and have other similar effects, but I would've liked something more.
Imagine stepping over that annoying shotgun camper's helmet fragments and brains after landing four precise shots from your powerful scout rifle.
Or having knights start drooling and screaming as they charge you when enraged. If they do manage to kill you, your body will be ripped to shreds, and they will cheer drenched in your blood.
There could've been moments that were extremely suspenseful- think gorgon maze, but much more extreme.
I would've liked to have seen limbs ripped off of enemies when delivering a killing blow on a target with a high impact sniper.
And a large blood splatter effect when using weapons that overpenetrate enemies.
Also, if you're hear to say something like "why don't you go play an M rated game then"
Save it.
Strictly Destiny.
Edit: So over half of voters agree.
"I like turtles" is actually a popular option.
Who knew.

They needed the game engine from cod world at war.

With the m rating it would also open up for more customization, like being able to make your own emblems, you can't do that however because to many people would have penis emblems and bungie wants a diverse and large community rather than penis emblems

I stopped playing m games when mw2 wanted me to slaughter an airport of unarmed civilians. I love video games but seriously greusomly killing other humans has a direct effect on the human psyche. So if destiny was rated m I wouldn't be playing.

2 Repliesthink of the environments too, instead of just half assed bones strewn about you could have humans impaled on pikes (not the vehicle) in the Devils lair. and it would make for much creepier hive areas

Not necessarily for the gore, but for being able to bring up more mature topics in the game. Like hearing about those scary stories of what the Fallen and Hive have done to humans, and having more dialogue with a mature tone. Really overall it should just be a more mature game in my opinion.

Proper blood & gore would of been good! But it's already been rated M for Massive disappointment/waste of £ or lie whichever you feel applies! ;)
