As many veteran Destiny players will know that patrol and strikes are a major part of the game. Patrol is useful for gathering materials for upgrading new weapons and armor. But sometimes when buying materials isn't an option and patrol gathering is the only way. Maybe, as a community, we can make this easier. While on the search for materials on any location, some guardians can not seem to find any. This is especially frustrating when materials are needed in a short time frame. There may be ways to improve the collection of materials by helping each other.... If you are on patrol and happen to come across a chest or other material node (relic shard, helium coils), help a fellow guardian! Most likely, anyone one near you is either looking for that same material or could always use some more for reserve. Wait to collect the loot (Materials and chest have despawn timers) and draw the other guardians attention by waving and pointing. I know you must be thinking that no one will understand. But, if enough people read this or figure it out, you may find that materials are easier to come by! So remember next time before you grab those chest to be courteous to near by guardians by giving them a wave or point! Helping them may help you in the long run. Go and get your loot, Guardians!
