Joining a Faction
I've been playing Destiny since the beta (~500 hours now), and I have never once equipped a faction class item. (I am Crucible rank 13 and Vanguard rank 31, on my Warlock.)
I decided I need to level one up, to be ready when (if) Bungie ever establishes a faction based event/mode. I've gotten all 3 faction class items from engrams throughout my time, and I have them sitting in my vault.
My question to you is: which do I equip and why? What is the best faction in your eyes; for what reasons?

What's funny to me is that Bungie spent time giving the two lesser factions awesome spots (FWC especially) in the tower and gave Dead Orbit some bs crates to stand by. Congration wut gud dezign
