Summary of Destiny's Story if the Speaker would have told us

[spoiler]Transcript: In the beginning, the universe started as a seed. And every great thing came from small atoms through chance and mayhem. These atoms made stars, those stars made galaxies. Worlds formed as molecules began to copy themselves. The body is made of such small things. And those things are ruled by the amount of matter and direction they are going. This is why the universe feels as if it will never end. Everything changing so slightly and it feels like nothings changed at all. Nothing that is dead will complain about it's circumstances. But life complains about death, injustice, and other trivial things. It is all governed by the unspoken law, existance must be under one ruler. Every living creature is playing a game where there is only one victor. The harshest ruler that cares not about it's own people will prevail. And all of the nations that believe they can defend themselves will fall in due time. The universe is a beast. Existance is described as a very fine dry powder, etched with outlines of continents, islands, and ice caps. Each grain represents a planet. One hundred billion grains and they fit in two hands. We are small in the sight of everything. However we can hold existance in our hands. To do what we will of it. But we didn't know it yet. There was a Before. Before the Golden age and the Collapse. Where humans knew almost everything. There was scientific law and human truth, even a model of the universe. People carried pictures of the past and predicted their future. They had an expectation of living an intelligent life. Then they learned that they knew nothing. The traveler came and propelled them into scientific advancement bearing gifts for them. The traveller taught them so much more than they could dream. The Golden age came upon them and humans spread amongst the planets. They lived longer, flew further, and knew more than humans know now. Disease and hatred was extinguished forever. Internal strife, philosophy, and machinery clashed as they came together. But they prevailed. The asteroid belt was used for materials. Venus, mars, and jupiter were populated. Venus was where the Ishtar Collective did research on the vex. Great scientists and inventors created a place on mars where technological wonders were born. Freehold, with no law or regulations you could do as you please. Jupiter was a cornerstone of civilization.No one really understands the traveler. But it's humanity's turn to protect her as she protected them. Centuries after the Golden age began. The Darkness came looking for her, and she was shattered in saving humanity. This was the Collapse. The darkness took everything from it's enemy, the Traveler. It is a cosmic force of evil that moved as a great storm destroying light. It is something tangible and intelligent, made of energy as a cosmic balance to the light. It moved slowly through, wiping out planets until reaching Earth where the defenses, aided by Rasputin and the traveler, were sufficient to survival. The dawn of the Dark Age. The city lifted itself from the ashes, gathering survivors. The dark age took the past from humanity, but hope remained. Awoken came from the deep black, changed in trying to flee the darkness. Exo's marched in with shattered memories. They were originally built with the ideals and likeness of humans. Thus they often have a hard time understanding themselves. Ghosts came from the Traveler's dying breath, beginning their search for Guardians. Towns struggled for leadership and control. It was a dark time of gathering and survival. The city age begun as survivors lived beneath the traveler. When the Titans raised the first wall. As the battle at Six Front's waged on. The Iron Lords defended the city. There was the Battle of Twilight Gap. Lord Shaxx pushed the Fallen House of Devils from the City walls. Lord Saladin led the defenses. Up against an army of walkers, they emerged victorious. Saint-14 lead a crusade against the Fallen. The Speaker spoke wisdom as a connection between the people and the Traveler, guiding guardians to their duty. The great Ahamkara hunt began. These dragons were hunted to extinction, driven by hope, vengeance, or despair. Toland's madness began as he understood the concepts of the universe. He tried to explain it as best he could as his mind slipped away. Terrible Faction Wars rose up, bringing the City to it's knees. A decision was made that the greater factions would be able to continue, Future War Cult, New Monarchy, and Dead Orbit. The crucible was born for guardians to prove themselves and to train. The moon was where they failed. The hive have thrived off the darkness. Oryx is the God of the hive, and his son Crota had led the armies with a sword that eats the light of guardians. An announcement was made to abandon all posts on the moon in order to prevent further spread of the hive and death. At least until they would show hostility in the future. We lost contact with Jupiter, being too dangerous to venture past the reef. The reef is the last place where the light touches. Full of the awoken and fallen pirates. The Queen and her brother command the Fallen house of Wolves there. They know much about the vex and it's heart in the black garden. A place without time, a place of life and a place of evil. Mysteries are everywhere to be uncovered. You walk among mortals and immortals. You are a creature lost in time. You have been brought back in the end of days, charged with war. You were at peace and now you remember nothing of freedom. The war against darkness is everything now. You are the chosen, Guardian. This is your Destiny.[/spoiler]
