Finished http://imgur.com/iqyfY1R Another tip •When shading, smudge the pencil with your finger to make a smooth tone

Better than I can do.

Edited by Garbonso: 2/15/2015 3:36:37 AMThis is a good base. It should be about 80% lighter so you can do all the shading and not have the hard edges. Do yourself a favor and get photoshop and a stylus and learn to do it digitally. It'll still be a great skill and it will translate into practical and possible future building talent. I do a lot of digital illustrating for my job (graphic/web designer) Again though, great start.

Pretty good. Needs some work. Maybe throw in some shadowing? Thanks for sharing, though. Takes guts to show people your work to critique.

My art teacher in high school gave me some great advice. Although i thought he was a dick at the time. He told me,"no cartoons in my class. Stop drawing what you think you see and start drawing whats actually there." He also taught me the importance of looking at the human body (bones and muscles) before jumping in on an entire portrait. Start with the shape of the head and spine and work from there. Angle of the shoulders and knowing where the eyes are looking.
-
Needs a little work. Keep trying though! You'll get it eventually!
-
Is that awoken?
-
It's alright
-
Pretty good, personally I wouldn't colour it I would use shading to make it look more 3D but thats just my option mostly because pictures i draw become crappy if I colour it
-
I think my eyes are bleeding.
I'm only -blam!-ing with you. It's pretty good for you age and your level of drawing. I can't draw for shit, so it's better than anything I can put on a piece of paper
It's a piece of shit. Simple. Can't tell what it is other than chicken scratch on a piece of paper. Go back to school.

Edited by L117: 2/15/2015 2:38:26 AMNice! for a beginner My review as a professional artist: •Okay balance •Need to work a bit on the texture •Improve your Emphasis •Increase the amount of Scale you put in it. If you work on that then your hand drawn warlock will look Great! But on honestly your lines look bad, horrible Emphasis, and hard to follow. But great job for a beginner!
-
It's a great first effort. Stick to it!

Like anything else in life the more you practice something the better you'll be at it over time. I was at about your level when I was your age but kept drawing and got better. In high school I took all the art classes I could and improved over time Keep at it buddy

Nice, for a beginner. I started drawing drawing around that age. Have you tried shading with your fingers? If you are using a lead or charcoal pencil. You can shade by placing your finger on the line you drew. Press into it and swipe to where you want to shade. Short or long strokes. You can reapply lead to the same line and do it again. This works with ball point pens as well, but you must shade the line fast. Practice. Good luck.

I think it's really good considering you're just starting out (way better than I could manage). The outline is a little hard to follow at first. Good job though!
-
Awesome, I wish I could draw but I can't I tried to draw a cube today and it ended up looking like a demented potato

Atleast it's something. If you enjoy doing this, keep it up. Do what makes you happy, eventually others will see and it will make them happy.
-
All I can draw is stick figures so hell yeah its good
-
what the f*ck is that supposed to be
lmao
I like the smiley face in the top right
-
He looks like hes made of jello

Not bad considering you're new at it. You're good at recognizing detail. However I would try and spend more time drawing an outline first, and then pencil in all the tiny details later. When you do it that way it helps you to keep the finished product in perspective so you don't end up with a drawing that looks "mushy". If that makes any sense. Keep it up though! Still impressive.
