Explaining changes to Destiny 2013 - 2014

Disclaimer: This is not about disc-locked content Regarding the conversations over removed content Planets, Loot tables, Etc I have a really good explanation. The Weapons In ViDocs it shows pre-2014 that weapons instead of having a upgradable base damage had a weapon level. Also notice that you could pick up commons - exotics at any level. Whys this? We'll say you are a level 10.. You are going to pick up a weapon that pertains to that level but will be weaker compared to higher levels. This goes for legendaries and exotics as well. This is why the loot drops seemed they dropped off of bosses more frequently and were obtained through loot chests. It simply would be hand outs with the system we have in place now. Public Events The public events in the ViDocs were largely unchanged from the events we have now from what it showed. Story The story was different NO DOUBT pre-2014 but who knows of the story was even better than the one we have now? We don't... It is all speculation. ALSO there was no free roaming of the planets Pre-2014 according to the orbit screen on the ViDocs... Pure speculation as there was only options for Tower/Campaign and there were no materials for farming. Crucible/Faction Wars From the footage that they shown of the early crucible it looked largely unchanged (Maybe factions played a bigger role but that's all speculation). Pretty much it Yes they took some stuff in and out but really the game looks the same as of a year ago but just with different schematics. Post your opinions below and be sure to bump! Thanks! (:
