Please Fix Kill Target Public Event
The public event kill target especially on Earth is defective.
So many times they are near impossible to kill and they get to the end point way to fast.
Either fix it or you'll see even more ignore it. All it seems to do is use u all your ammo for nothing.

All of these come down to RoF and work best with 2 guardians 1 uses a high RoF auto rifle 2 uses the damage specific fusion rifle Enemy equals dead in seconds

2 RepliesTitan super... 100 rounds of legendary mg, two grenades and then swap between icebreaker and legendary scout rifle or hand cannon. 100% success rate. [spoiler]If you have 2 other guardians doing exactly the same thing.[/spoiler]

Anyone who says they can beat it solo are liars. I have 3 32s and the best guns in the game and can't kill it solo. Shield regens faster that you reload plus he runs like a bitch

If nobody is there to help then yes ignoring is the best course of action. Shield hit points, regen, and delay is unforgiving to any solo guardian no matter what planet your on.

As a 31 with maxed legendary weapons I have enough firepower to take them however I (usually) need a second guardian to keep dealing damage whilst I reload as the pause, nomatter how short, seems to give them time to fully regen the shield. Once I've knocked a bit of health off they start to run/teleport as well and I just don't have time to knock that shield down again.

3 RepliesIf you get lucky and a sword of crota spawns, you can kill it and take the sword to the target and wail on him, easier that way. But in general that event is hard as balls. I posted abt it a while ago and got a bunch of negative comments.

For anyone saying get better weapons or stop sucking. it's not his fault i have experienced 2 things with kill the target: 1. The enemy that spawns seems to glitch and the game thinks there are more than 3-4 guardians fighting the enemy and scales him to impossible lvls that make him impossible to kill. We had 4 people shooting a captain all with plan C's and 12 shots barely brought his shield down to half. 2. they glitch put once again and just make a run for the end. this doesn't happen frequently but when it does it's freaking annoying

The thing is if you have all the right weapons its a good fair fight If you dont, needing ppl is suppose to be needed I do wish at times for him to be easier but i find it rewarding to down him

I usually kill the ones on earth pretty quick an by myself to boot! Get good noob!

2 RepliesHow about using a weapon that has the same burn damage as their shields. Give wizard has a solar shield? Use a solar weapon like vision of confluence, abyss defiant, gjallarhorn, invective, etc if you have any. Problem solved. So quit whining and have fun!

5 RepliesI can do most of them no problem, it's just when they teleporting around it gets much harder, I've had one literally teleport to the otherside of the map, by the time I sparrowed over he was gone. When it's not glitching out though, anything that can do damage over time is fantastic, the Thorn can wreck them once the shield is done.

1 ReplyEven worse is the Kill Target event on the moon where a Hive Wizard spawns. Just as much of a bullet sponge as the Fallen Captain, just as buggy with the checkpoint teleportation and way more mobile so way harder to actually hit.

1 ReplyYou better have a weapon that has the required element to drop the shield very quickly and a maxed out primary to keep sustained damage on the target. Otherwise you are better off running away lol.

I'll get one to a shred of health at checkpoint 1, and the bastards will suddenly teleport to final checkpoint. I gave up on them.

My personal favorite is when they hang around their spawn point for 3 minutes and then magically start warping to the departure zone. Magically.

5 RepliesCenturion on Mars I kept blasting him with a solar fusion rifle and he just loled at me and kept shooting. I even kept him trapped in a room for a bit and it just made no difference

3 RepliesI only do those events if other people are participating or I know I can solo it, the minotaurs (to me) are very difficult. Or sometimes I jump on my sparrow and a push him back.

1 ReplyIts not supposed to be easy people.. it promotes team work. The game was designed as a multi player game. When i run with a buddy we never have a problem killing any of them.

It's probably supposed to be hard. Although you'd think it'd be harder to take out Fallen Walkers instead. I just skip it if there aren't a couple other players in the area.

The only time you can ever beat 'em is if there are players nearby and you hope they'll join you in pushing his crap in and spit-roasting his hide.
