Get your ass to Mars! With thorn, before they nerf it.
Check out my submission for the Community Creations contest. Bathe in the glory of Thorn, my favourite gun, before the weapon rebalance in September. I've had a lot of fun with this bad boy during year .

Read the changes more closely. It's not getting nerfed in PVE - it's actually getting a buff. The DOT is being reduced to 1/3 of what it was - but now it stacks. And it stacks up to 5 times at that. So if you tag a single enemy 5 times, the DOT will be 1.66 more potent. In PVP it's not likely you will hit the same target 5 times with a hand cannon before you either kill them from the straight up shots, they kill you first, or they flee the scene and the DOT clears. The reduction to 1/3 was to stop those instances where you would get a crit - inflict DOT - hit a body shot and as they fled they died from the DOT. Now 2 shots will only have 2/3 of the DOT damage if they are able to flee before the kill shot. The nerf / ninja buff is a balance for PVP and a buff for PVE to still keep it relevant.
