Okay so today i decided I'm gonna record some gaming footage using my capture card but then i thought "i havent updated it in awhile i should probably do that because i wanna look after my $200 capture card so i begin the firmware update and its going fine but then my -blam!-ING SHITTY COMPUTER "ran into a problem and had to restart" right in the middle of the update and it said in big letters "TERMINATION OR INTERRUPTION OF POWER SUPPLY DURING FIRMWARE UPDATE WILL CAUSE MALFUNCTION TO THE CAPTURE CARD" so my damn laptop restarted and my capture cards update was interrupted so i go to resume the update hoping it wouldn't be that big a deal...well now my card wont even turn on or show up on my computer and after some research i learned that some other people also had accidentally interrupted the update and now the capture card is bricked with no way of fixing it so i now have a $200 paperweight ...FML (Sorry for ranting I'm just pissed off right now)
