HERESY. WHAT A LET DOWN...
It started feeling pretty strong. Great weapons, cool plot devices, interesting story (the beginning).
Then the inevitable down slope of unengaging repetitive activities, Lack of voiced dialogue, ONE HELL of a anti-climatic story ending and lets not forget the god AWFUL loot drop rate. I have done a dozen or so Expert Court runs (after bungie put out a statement that the adept drops would actually start dropping), particularly the shiny versions and I have yet to see a single adept shiny. Not only that but I just did 4 runs of expert court were not even an adept dropped, this situation is pathetic.
Look Bungie I know you're excited to launch marathon, but if I have to say if you are going to put in so little effort into a game thousands upon thousands of people have invested into (OVER YEARS) then I need to say. How many people do you honestly expect to care about your new upcoming release.

Our overall goal is to give you higher chances for weapons, Adepts, and specifically this is with your output. „ they didn't even acknowledged the shiny adept drop rates 🤣 but i bet they going to increase it one week before the Act III ends Edit: as a non Soulsike and Metroidvania player i having more fun playing with Stellar Blade and Prince of Persia The Lost Crown than D2 in the past two weeks

I decided to stop playing this season when they made it RNG whether or not certain -blam!- would even appear. Also the seasonal activity pissed me off because I did probably 30 runs of the expert version of court of oryx and never got an adept machine gun. So I just decided not to bother anymore.

I think it had the best ending of the 3 episodes Mya takes the Echo and floats down vex milk River, with us,Ikora and Saint just watching like deer in the headlights Eramis tells us she still hates our guts, even though we just saved her and her people from Boogeyman fukrul , and tells us we suck and our system sucks , and we can GFOS, and makes Miisrax another false Kell Of Kells(he wasn't Reborn in the light chosen by a ghost) Heresy is actually a nice send-off for Oryx, he gave us his approval , and disapproval of his sisters, and in the end decided that by continuing to exist he is a hypocrite, so instead of escaping the Dreadnought, he stops on his own accord and resigns himself to destruction, plus we got to piss off the Hive sisters even more , I cant wait to crush immaru, it will be so satisfying -
1 Replynether and its gimmicks sucked, it was just another patrol zone really and they made everyone search around it constantly for crap and each run took an obscenely long time - item and event hunts are some of the worst content conceivable multiple steps were basically 'repeat til you loathe it' instead of any actual story driven content, just absolute filler quest steps to pad metrics absolutely low dev effort design

For me, if you took out the health regeneration aspect of the nether, I actually really liked this season. Court of Blades could have been much more simplistic but these streamers have to have something.

The episode being a letdown because the super elusive rarity is super elusive is wild. The Shiny adepts don't matter. Go for regular shinies. This is not worth your sanity. This is no different than judging pokemon games because shiny pokemon were 1 in 4080+ encounters. Make sure your tome of want is always loaded and don't bother with Expert runs because the standard adept drop chance will dilute the loot pool where the standard shiny will be better since it will have 3 perks in each column if you have the final vendor upgrade.

As cannibalizing your own audience for another one of your own products is just moving where the money is coming from, not adding new sources. And at this point, it's generally accepted that most ppl only have time for 1 live service game. If they are hoping the destiny players do anything more than purchase it, for the initial sales revenue or so they can tell sony ut wasnt a complete failure. that doesn't show a high level of confidence in it getting it's own playerbase imo. That or they want to drop destiny in favor of marathon, but a extraction shooter is not an exit strategy so I find that unlikely. TLDR: if they weren't desperate, the answer would be none.
