Destiny is also about Discovery

I'm 43, I've had every major system except PS4. So I've been gaming a long time, and like most of you Destiny appears to be a game I've been waiting a long time for. I know it's getting close, and the itch is unbearable, probably has you feeling like a kid again the first time you ever wanted that major thing on Christmas. But what I'm telling you now is to "Let it Go". I watched so much Old Russia footage that when we finally got our time with the beta, I was pretty much walking in another person steps, and that's not what Destiny is supposed to be. I understand setting up clans, fire teams ,websites, and YouTube, but don't dig for content. Don't look for all the armor, guns, or unlockables, that's to keep you going. Let's be surprised, let's not be afraid to fail, so we can enjoy the success even more. We see a lot good games lately, but a new IP,this huge. All I'm saying is don't ruin it for yourself, or you' ll find yourself taking another persons path, and I know that's not why your getting into this game. Sorry for the long post, but I see some people going down a path. If your the type of person that wants to read a strategy guide before you pick up the controller, then fine that's your thing. But if you want to discover, be surprised, overcome, and truly get into this world, then "Let it Go". This is big for me because I'm not a social media person, or thought I'd ever join a clan, but I'm all in for Destiny, and will do what I can to get everything out of this game. We all have very real/different lives, but we share the love of games. I can't wait to love this game with my clan [AXGN] see you on 9/9.
