I am currently level 29 and I admit I play this game a ton, so as the weekly refresh comes out I do the Nightfall Raid and Weekly on Tuesday. What this post about is getting loot from the raid more than once a week but, after your first run in the week you can only get rewards after the oracles, Templar, gatekeeper, and aetheon, (so pretty much just not from the chests). doing this would give the higher level players more incentive to play the game and the raid, maybe after the first nightfall of the week you get a legendary engram everytime (with no chance of it being exotic because the first time of the week you have a chance of getting exotic) and as for the weekly maybe add a level 30 option in and make it with level 31/32 enemies and you get 11 strange coins the first time and everytime after that you get 1 ascendant material. Just some ideas to through out there. As for the daily challenge do the same as the weekly, add a level 30 option and the reward is 3 ascendant material

I'm all for more incentive for higher level people. But not to the point where we get everything handed to us because we can/do complete content so quickly. Maybe if they give bosses on certain difficulties a darn loot table with gear that can only be found there in nightfall or weekly that was completely separate from the "reward" system already in place. Of course there is only a chance at the loot droping. people wouldn't mind rerunning nightfall to help others or just farm for the said loot if it was worth it.

They deffidently need to add something more to do, comes Tuesday night I have the Weekly Heroic and Nightfall done on all 3 of my characters, and usually have the raid beaten once or twice a day after that then BAM nothing for me to do really @.@

Maby they should just start a bi weekly reset for weekly strike and raid.

I commend you sir for not complaining about lower level players getting all the good stuff! I thought that's what this was about lol. Yeah it should be rewarding for ppl who put the time into the game. Maybe some exclusive higher level crucible games! That would be fun!

While I am all for more incentives for higher end content, it is typical to have limits. I've played a lot of MMO's (No Destiny isn't a true MMO) and always you reach a point where you are waiting for that drop from the raid. I usually start a different character or PvP, or play another game while you wait for the weekly reset.

Or maybe they should just add new content with good rewards to mix things up lol Don't get me wrong, the game is addicting but most of the players still sticking around are here for the grind

I completely agree with this, I'm level 29 and I usually do nightfall and weekly strike on Tuesday and then besides daily story for ascendant mats there's really no reason to play all week. I usually get full vanguard marks just to buy gear to scrap for mats but even that only takes a few hours. A level 30 strike list with a higher chance of legendary gear post strike would definitely give more incentive, and I definitely agree that being able to redo the raid even with less rewards would keep me coming back as currently the raid is the only way I can possibly improve my gear. Only getting one shot at improving my gear all week is definitely kind of annoying.

They just shouldn't cap anything at all. Ever. Period. This is artificial extension of the game.

I've been stuck at 28 for about 2 weeks now waiting to get my last 2 pieces of raid gear, and I hate that it feels like I'll never try the hard mode because the rng hates me and I can't get the raid armor I need to hit 30 when I upgrade

I like the idea.. but at the same time, I know WoW had limits on raids.

as a level 29 the only thing i want is a level 30 strike playlist. i mean seriously...it caps out at level 24? then the next level up either doing the weekly on level 28 or doing the nightfall...which only refresh once a week, give us high levels a challenge, geez (And i know you can do the raid on level 30 and that's cool and all but i'd still like better strike playlists)

They should make it so you could get a maximum of 20-30 shards or energy a week. You can only get raid gear and weapons from beating Atheon after the first time( first run you still get gear and weapons at chests). Something like that so there are limits just like vanguard marks get capped

The problem with this idea is IF they do implement that, then higher level players will complain they aren't being compensated enough for going through it on harder difficulty. They'd argue that they got better/more items when they did the Knightfall on 28 rather than 30.
