Centipede error code cannot play anymore
Haven't been able to play nearly at all since updating. Every time I start up the game after the opening screen with destiny on it I get error code centipede every time. I've tried changing everything I can but I can't play destiny. Every other game works fine except this one. Any help?

12 RepliesWe are aware there are some players that are not having a quality experience getting or staying connected to Destiny, even after following the troubleshooting steps. 1 ReplyI would love to play as well but this error code came up a bunch yesterday and won't let me log on today. I was on the phone for hours with my ISP they couldn't help. I have opened ports for xbox live as well as the troubleshooting ports under the Centipede help page and NO DIFFERENCE. I still can't connect to the servers while everyone else on my friends list is able to play.

Its not a firewall problem my ps4 is directly on the net... I dont understand how some get to play and others dont... Bungie must smoke some really good shit! :)

Yeah Same for me. Played the last week without problems, yesterday at after the patch it was quite unstable, then i got another disconnect while running a mission. After that im am not able to log in anymore. Stuck at "press X to start" on my PS4. After that getting centipede Error. I would like some recompense for all the Trouble i have with the game. What the hell was beta testing for?

Same here. Played Destiny for a week now without Major Problems (Germany) Yesterday after the patch it was unstable, got disconnected a few times. Then suddenly i cant log in anymore at all. Always Centipede before even getting to Character screen. Is this standart for a PS4 Multiplayer Game? I was PC gaming only before the PS4 (mind my SNES in the 90ties) and there I haver never experienced anything like this before.

Been playing for two weeks no issues whatsoever was on the last mission the black garden and got kicked out centipede error. Now cant log into my titan character. Can play as other characters but the main one is not working get to the menu to chose character and it has centipede error, how annoying. ONE MORE MISSION, COME ON BUNGIE THIS IS RIDICULOUS

Having same issue since they did the patch can't even get to character select screen internet is fine not on campus either so idk all my friends play no problem... Really annoyed about this whole issue

I get into game but about every second crucible game I get booted with the centipede error. Happens loading into tower sometimes as well... in fact it just happens whenever it god damn feels like it. Cant handle much more.... ill have to come back to destiny once this is all sorted.

Have been having the same problem here. Centipede error right after the "PRESS X TO PLAY" text on PS4. I'm not on campus and internet is working flawlessly. Frustrated because I haven't had this problem on Destiny before :(

Same thing happened to me about 6 today and haven't been able to get back on since. "Centipede" really? You would think with the millions of dollars that they put into this thing that they could have come up with something less "bug" related. Also this is one of the saddest support systems I have seen for a game in a very long time. Not even a number to call for assistance? Get your "stuff" together Bungie!!!

2 RepliesI am having this problem too (Centipede error) but only with one of my characters. If i pick my other 2 I can play fine with no interruptions (I have been for the past few hours anyway). With my Titan as soon as I click on him I get centipede error before even going into orbit. How does that even work?? I am not on a campus and everything to my ps4 is in DMZ.

same error in myps4 after update not got a thing to do with conection as my sons account witch is not linked works just fine.come on bungie fix it or could I get my money back mmmm 35 hrs in start again new ps account n start over no thanks
