Yup, one of the weekly updates. Unfortunately that won't work due to enemies in the way (in an uncontrolled / unpredictable way), not enough space to race on, etc. :( I was thinking of making a proof of concept video of mixing Destiny racing type footage with the Star Wars podcracing scene, but there's not enough video on either side. But it could be easily integrated into Destiny's base game if you added a race organizer, and then ONLY people who signed up at the race organizer would see the races on the map (that way people who don't care for it don't see it), add in a half dozen Sparrows which are designed for racing (with various stats for durability, boost time, acceleration, handling, etc.)(which can only be used during the race), and then you just flag certain races for a day or a few hours at a time like they did with Iron Banner during beta.

Or make it a separate Pvp type map that can be accessed at the station. Have open twice a day or a few times a week (different hours) so everyone could play. You sign up go to galaxy map And choose the race (planet or track ) you want to go to.
