Poor show... people always want something for nothing. I just finished exploring and thought about putting the code on my own website, instead I put:
"If you explore everything, then you may get a reward!"
This is a little more going against getting stuff for free, as other codes I have used there was no way I could get them, but this one is open to everyone and Bungie want to create explorers and introduce some of the stuff you might see.

It's called freedom of information. It's his code, he got it, he can decide to share it if he wants. With how buggy the platform is, I'm glad he did.

I explored everything and didn't get anything about a code.

Strange. I explored the moon and Venus, was halfway through mars when my browser crashed. Went back and made sure I got everything and then a little pop-up appeared in the bottom right with the code in....

I don't know, I think bungie is pretty sure people will share things, Luke mentioned raid strat guides in one of the interviews. At any rate, planet viewer is pretty cool, and is worth checking out regardless of codes.

I put the code in BEFORE going through the Planet View, but also because I was unsure how tolerant the wife would be as I was going through it. That way I had the code, and if she complained, no loss either way. P.S. - I was able to make it all the way through.

Edited by Tom T: 9/3/2014 11:03:35 AMSome people are intentionally avoiding the Planet Viewer. I would rather have a controller in my hands when I explore Destiny for the first time.

Exactly how I felt too. However boredom at work took over, and I was able to get a lot of information to add to my Destiny website knowledge base. However there are some funny comments in there!

This. I haven't seen a drop of Mars or Venus (other than a few seconds each on trailers) and I intend to keep it that way till my Titan steps foot on those planets. But I got the code too(;
