Destiny Beta Recognition
So here is a question I want to go on and get out of the way.
If we were unable to participate in the lunar mission, will we still get recognition for participating in the beta, or did we preorder the game as a waste of time entirely. What I'm saying is, will we still get something out of it? Or will it be a, no recognition, your progress is deleted and here's a pat on the back with a smug grin saying, "The memories are your reward."?

There are two rewards for being a part of the beta. The first is for playing at any time or getting the centipede error. As long as you did something in the beta, this one is awarded to you. The second is for those who were a part of the event that ran on 7/26 as a part of Bungie's server stress test. If you did anything during that window, including going to the moon, you will get the second one as well as the first one. Bungie has not alerted anyone if they have gotten it or not, but the PSN IDs and gamertags that participated in the beta will receive these awards at launch.
