Servers should have 77 players per server.

One thing I did not enjoy about the alpha and beta builds was the sense of isolation and loneliness I felt. Usually I only saw 3 or for people in old Russia. Since Destiny is going to be a FPS MMO, I think it should do a better job of living up to the MMO aspect. Each instance and server should be able to have a 77 player capacity. That way I will feel like I am playing with a community and it will make public events feel like a big battle or that I am exploring Bungie's world with an army of guardians.

  • If this was a true open world game like EQ or WOW then yea this would be nice, but it's not. Also the reason that Bungie has stated Destiny isn't a RPGMMO is because they didn't want to chase away the FPS crowd. Hence the shared world shooter. Sadly even large games like EQ and WOW you can still get that lonely and isolated feeling. If Bungie was using the whole planet earth as a playable area then I am sure we could do what you suggested, but that would be insane and be very expensive on bungies side and I am not sure a console could handle that.
