quoted from deej himself. is he threatening my life or something?
if not, can we please dispense with all the dopey pr stuff? it's great they have ambition, but there's no way this game will deliver on half this nonsense. it's becoming less of a tangible and more of a "feeling" passing into the ether. the only way this game has any chance to live up to this kind of hype is if it turns into jesus christ himself.

Yeah and you could see that in the beta. Its the random generated side quests you get. Like in skyrim.
-
You can never "finish" a game that has infinite gear progression and will most likely have events and content patches down the road
-
It is his (dejee's) job to publicize and get a customer base hyped to spread the word about the game. That said, it is fun to get excited for a new release, but never hurts to be a little skeptic. Also it can be dangerous to a games reputation if it over sensationalize itself.
-
maybe not finishing, but many games got a point where people are getting tired of it and the added stuff will become repetetive. we'll see how bungie manages this game. the potential is great

'is he threatening my life or something?' xD

Edited by WickedWahine808: 8/31/2014 12:53:51 AMMaybe this was taken out of context, you never know, or it was meant as a joke. His prose including "Christmas Noobs" leads me to think so. Deej's not 12, lol. Would have been OK to simply say PvP game play is awesome and it will always feel fresh. I'm not the PR person so, whatever.

But but but, I spend millions of dollars a year on this, and it's sooooooo close to launch, I can't not do pr, can I? (Yes I realize it's a double negative)

Edited by DEZARATH: 8/31/2014 3:18:01 AMThat's very true. If No Man's Sky lives up to the hype I don't think I'll be finishing Destiny much longer after NMS releases.

Hallelujah I think I see the light!

Yea...... For the noobs lol jk

All hail the virtual world!

I'm not sure if this still rings true /revival
