I don't care about my character but I'm worried about the fact that I got this thing called ether seeds and I want to know if they are common or rare

You use those to increase glimmer drop from enemies. I got those typically after completing the last boss in the Devils lair. Not really "rare"

Devils lair was the strike mission. With the purple ball thing you had to kill. Sepiks Prime i think its name was? Whether or not you played that part, the ether seeds werent rare. I got em a lot by killing masses of Fallen.
