Nah this has to be changed, I'll be so pissed if I go through a 16 hour raid to get the "omega destroyer ultra mega super death ray beam cannon mk-X", that goes perfectly with my "omni halo of the all powerful righteous savage" only to find out I can equip 1 at a time. Bungie said the endgame is difficult, so why not let us pull out all the stocks?

...How can it not have crossed your mind that the end game might be hard because the AI are going to be powerful, AND you cant make yourself invincible with 3 instant kill belt fed machineguns and rocket launchers? If the AI was powerful but you could make yourself a god, then they may as well just remove the AI all together and just let you open a chest the moment you spawn for your "rewards".

It doesnt matter if it was weapon or armor, cause they both boost your damage output in some way if it is an exotic. I understand wanting to use something you worked hard for, but that is why you make a build around it. Not make the item around the build. That goes against the logic of getting an exotic (I.E. unique) item. The exotics are designed to be the focal point of your character and build. If everyone walked around in pure exotics, then exotics would no longer be cool or exotic. They would just become 'oh he has the helmet that every other striker titan uses' kind of thing. This will never work, and that is a good thing for so many reasons.

He is half way right though. The point of Exotics is to define your role in a group more. If you look at the traits for exotics they are made to be options. So if you are a Titan one example is... Do I want to double dip on my striker to make Fist of Havoc more awesome or would it be better to have 2 grenades. Exotics limitations force you to make more options for situations. People that just try to stay one build for everything are not going to be as effective as players that adapt their build for situations. It separates the good from the great. Rather you like that or not, that is what they want you to do with exotic gear.

I'm not saying stick to one build, that would also be dumb. I'm saying that basing your build to fully support one item is a bad idea. You should choose your gear and build based on your guardian and play style, not the other way around. he's full wrong and you're half right that he was half wrong while being half wrong that he was half right when like I said before... He's full wrong

You can equip one golden armor and one Gun. So you would be able to use your helmet and cannon at the same time. Also it adds strategy to the game by limiting it. If you want a game with out strategy go play cod and run around with a LMG

Ah I had no idea you could use 2 in that sense. If that's the case they should remove the restraint of 1 gun, 1 armor and let us mix 2 exotics of the players choice. It would nullify what skippy up there ^ had to say about everyone having the same crap
