new article about raids & matchmaking

Hey gang sorry to beat the dead horse but just found a new article about Raids and the decision to NOT have matchmaking. I enjoyed it, I liked the thoughts of the author and I thought I'd post it. Not interested in beating the horse, starting a war, flame bait, or whatever else the trolls care about. Just thought it was a good read. It may open up a few folks brains about why Bungie went in that direction. Maybe a few people that are upset about it will give it a chance, read the article and then say "oh, I didn't think about it like that, well okay, I can see a different perspective", "maybe I'll wait and play the full game and then decide". But enjoy and see you all starside.

 • yes because I understand how playing halo 3 on easy with my little sister so she could have fun taking out a scarab really hurt the hardcore community and ruined their legendary and LASO playthroughs I can understand hardcores being accommodated with their own difficulty with its own rewards just for them like vidmasters with reckon and I would support that but they need their own content just for them? or what they will feel insulted and refuse to play destiny ever again if filthy non-hardcores get to easily play the same content even if its just normal mode? and god forbid if a matchmade team ever did complete a raid EVE online isn't this elitist and doesn't try to find ways to keep people from easily accessing its content and it actual does require team work forging real alliances it actually has betrayals in the game the greatest battles can come out of no where with someone accidentally warping their titan into the wrong system EVE has more than earned the right to want to ensure only commited players play but how does it do that? through GAMEPLAY alone and what if a new player wants to go to hardest part of the game? (00 space) does EVE stop them? nope EVE's perfectly happy to let you walk into your own death and lets you decide if you think its a good idea to go there again at you level/skill/group size
