You can't carry ppl in a raid out for just few weeks tough and you can't carry 3-4 ppl out of 6 and to carry ppl you need to have mastered said raid which you can't archive without a static to train with

Carrying someone in another game doesn't mean it can work in this one

Doesn't mean it won't. Can't imagine it will be as in-depth and role specific as WoW raids. Would like to be proven wrong though.

There's no way it will be as role specific as a WoW raid. I think a lot of shooter guys are expecting it to be entirely too much like just a hard level in a shooter (like Halo's legendary). MMO guys on the other hand are expecting too much role specific gameplay and too much teamwork/coordination. I think it will be a good mix of both, and a lot of the coordination will come from feeding off each others orbs from supers.

I can guaranty you have never carried an entire raid.

He never said carried an entire raid...he said people and you can carry people in raids it's been done time and time again.

Ya but try to carry more than two dead weight in 10 man and your likely to get burned, smaller the group the more important each members is so I'd say you'd be lucky to get away carrying one person in a raid in destiny unless your team is pretty well geared

Sure. When there's 25+ and each person only needs to cover their less than 5% of the raid responsibilities. When there's only 6 there's less of a chance of being able to carry because each person is responsible for 18ish % of the raid succeeding. It's much easier to cover less than 5% than more than 18%. Because numbers.

I wasn't only talking about 25+ raids. I was talking more on the lines of FFXIV where you have 8 raid members. I did a raid with half of my company( FF Guilds) and I was healing, 3 dps and the rest were randoms. It was the Garuda fight and with FF only have 8 raid members the other group only had 1 dps of there own and we killed Garuda at the being of her second phase. That might not mean anything to you but if you know the fight you know it's a pretty big dps fight. I know that the raids in FF are probably different but the point I was trying to make was that people can be carried in a raid.

Garuda is one of the easiest fight out there. Carry ppl trough T8-9. THOSE are FFXIV ARR raids now

Never said it was a hard fight just said my company was able to carry a few randoms. T8-9 I stopped play FFXIV after T5 so I wouldn't really know how hard those new bosses are.

But you know how much time passed before starting selling T5 wins. And in that community we had raid mentality well established. Here 85% will expect to put a request for FFXIV ARR's duty finder and win T5 after a month. You know how likely that was in FFXIV ARR to happen right?

That all depends on difficulty though and we don't have anything to go off of other than what Bungie has told us. They have said it will be hard for 6 people who are working together. I'd rather take the word of people who have been play testing it for months (probably over a year) than to make assumptions based on other game experiences.

I would take Bungie's word to for the most part but I wouldn't say it's impossible to carry someone in there raid. Bungie has said they had one of the best FPS clan test the raid and they were in it for 16 hours. Bungie never said who this clan was or how much experience they had with the game so I'm just taking everything Bungie says with a grain of salt.
