When you check the roster, it also list people in the immediate area, you could send an invite.

Also you blind invite people enough times they might report you. I know I hate blind invites.

That would make you join a fireteam. A flare is faster, and not necesarilly to join a fireteam, but maybe a call for help or a public event.

Yeah, the more options the better. If it isn't necessary, just inventive and increases a sense of immersion not solely focused on combat, then I am for it. I like the details of various interactivity.
