A thought struck me about the Exo. At the beginning of Destiny our own Ghost finds us and restores us to life. Whatever conflict that killed the Human or Awoken at the walls of Old Russia was probably instant or quick, but I always imagine that my Exo, or any other Exo, was only damaged to a state of paralysis, watching Russia fall, unable to do anything. The only company to be had is the wildlife and memories if (s)he can even access them. Time goes by and eventually, the last systems will fail, corrosion and rust set in and the Exo could never scream for help, only wait for the dark to fall.
