You should change the title of the thread. If people associate anything with WoW they'll automatically reject it.
As for my opinion: I don't think the game needs it. WoW needed it because armor mismatch was atrocious, and there were lots of unused lower-level gear that looked great. Destiny won't need this as long as Bungie keeps armor consistent.
Maybe eventually it might be cool, just to give players even more customization and diversify their looks across the board.

You'd have to explain the premise of the poll in the body of the thread, like "Do you think it'd be awesome if we could swap stats on gear so we can have more customization and appearance options?" Or you might think of something better. I'm just throwing out ideas.

Yeah I could, but transmogrification explains that in one word. If people don't like it that's on them. Just because blizzard came up with it doesn't mean it can't apply to other games. Thank you for your input though. I might test doing that way in a few days.

It's just a matter of playing mind games and wording things that will help people understand your point of view before they turn it down first.
