appearance tab
Title says it all. Appearance tab please.
I found some armor I liked but couldn't wear it because of the huge loss in stats. Sure would have been great to keep it visible somehow.
Swtor did it a great way with armor plates that could be placed in armor. But I'd imagine that would be a major overhaul on work you've already put in. So yeah, just add an appearance tab please.

1 ReplyI think this would be cool if it didn't work on Exotics and worked by taking the piece you want to see and the one with the stats you want to a blacksmith (who you also go to for blueprint items) who could also allow you to rename and possibly recolor your weapons. And it takes all the stats and abilities together in one go but is a more permanent change. Actually it would be cool for Exotics too but I think that should only allow them to be the aesthetic portion.

totally agree! same thing was done in dc universe. you could tack on armor stats, but change the appearance of the item you had equipped. it still kept it fun becuase you still had to go out and find new armor.

Yes yes and more yes... I don't know why more people aren't shouting for this! I mean I would love a beard on a dude (I have a ok sized one going in RL atm). But deep down I feel this type of customization is more important. Helmets/armor are essentially the identity we make and shape as our character develops. Deep down I wanna look how I wanna look. Also they could use it as another badge, glimmer, time sink to keep people playing and grinding. Also I'm all for exotics not being able to take part in this special type of customization... Idk if I'd wanna see a dude roaming around looking like he's rocking full set of the 'single equip' pieces of gear.
