It's not too late for them to change it, but the question is why should they. Besides giving us access to in game content, all the cool gear in the Ghost Edition, you want one more extra piece. Im sorry, but I think you need to earn that specialized ghost skin. Earning legitimizes your awesomeness of kickassness, buying gives me that feeling of COD overpriced mods. Only reason ro buy the Ghosr edition is for the Ghost model that comes with the limited edition you would have bought. Not the skins.
