If you actually watch the video that spared this topic, you would understand why they didn't add matchmaking for the raids. They didn't go into detail as to exactly why they are harder then the rest of the game. They did say they are not your typical mmo raid, they added there own spin to them. The biggest problem I see with matchmaking is there is no communication. People hardly use there mics. When they do it's usually that enjoying little kid dropping f-bombs every two seconds. I personally don't want to spend a couple of hours doing a raid just to have someone leave because it's taking to long. Then we end up failing because we are a guardian short. You make it sound like it is going to be imposibl to find anyone to do a raid with. Lastly they know there taking a risk not adding matchmaking for raids, but, it a risk they believe in.

  • well its a risk "I" don't believe in.as well many like me don't believe in it either. this smacks of cant play online, thats what a 360 is for comment someone made last year. this is:dont have 5 destiny friends on the same console as you?play single player content....because there is no social in this mmo. it will be interesting to see if bungie prefers holding tight to its design choice thats dumb, over the outcry from potential customers.

  • Your opinion is based on very little information given to us by bungie. The excuse of I don't have that many friends is not but that, an excuse. I have a total of 3 friends on my psn account. Yet I'm not complaining about no mm for raids. If you don't like it don't buy it, otherwise quite bitching about something you know nothing about.

  • Audio, I think you don't really know what you're talking about. Little info? What more info do you need on NO matchmaking in raids? and the whole "if you don't like it don't buy it" crack is absurd. There is more to the game than just raiding.

  • As I stated in my previous post I have 3 friends on my psn account. 2 of them within the last 3 weeks. None of my personal friends have a ps4, so I have to go and find people to do raids with. That being said, I don't care that there is no matchmaking for raids. Bungie obviously has a reason for doing it this way and there is no point complaining until you actually try it. So yes, I do know what I'm talking about.

  • the point to the feedback forums is giving feedback, so there IS a point to complaining. How will they know if we don't like something if we don't say something? They may not change it right away or they may never change it but if we don't say something it will for sure not be changed. So telling people not to complain on a feedback forum, I can only think that you do not know what you are talking about.

  • How can you dislike something you never tried. They didn't add mm knowing it was going to irk some people. The majority of the people complaining about this don't understand all the info that's been released about raids. They make assumptions based on preconceived ideas. In my opinion, their trying to avoid the major problems of playing online with random people: no mic, pre-teens that swear every 3 sec, getting stuck with someone who is deliberately trying to make you lose... The list goes on. I thing the risk is totally worth the reward. As far as the whole this is a feedback forum, just because you don't like something they put in the game doesn't mean they should change it, even if there is a big group of people who don't like it. If that were the case all video games would suck and not be worth the money. Bungie needs to maintain creative control on what they do or don't put in THEIR game. With raids it seems like they want you to put some time and effort into how you are going to tackle the raids. They don't want people to do a raid because their bored and want to waste time. If you don't have 5 friends join a group or clan, don't sit their crying because they didn't add mm.
