Add more inventory slots to the player Vaults?
We each get 60 slots total (right?), anyone think that's just not enough? Especially as you progress further into the game getting more exotics?

I jinks it's enough if you don't collect stuff, I'd love to collect every exotic and have legendaries for many situations for each character or be able to have every shader in the vault, but thankfully the class material doesn't have a cap

I want to have more space because I play PVE and PVP and I want to keep effective PVE weapon when DLC comes out but still hold my favorite PVP weapons that I feel comfortable with in the Crucible.

3 RepliesNo way. I believe we get 9 slots for armor, and another 9 for weapons (I think). That's [i]way more[/i] than enough. Seeing as the [b]ONLY[/b] things you will [b]EVER[/b] keep in the vault are [i]exotics[/i], you don't need more room than that. There is probably more than they have shown, but so far we only know of a [i]few[/i] pieces of armor for each class, and a bunch of weapons, but you have [b]ANOTHER[/b] 9 slots on your person for whatever doesn't fit. I doubt I will EVER find 18 pieces of Hunter Exotic armor. Weapons, [i]maybe[/i]. Provided I only ever make one character for the entire time Destiny exists. If you store normal weapons, then what is wrong with you? Yay I found a new rare gun that I like better than mine, but instead of get rid of the now null and void old weapon and get money for it, I'll just keep it to waist room for the odd exotic I may find from doing Raids that I need 5 friends to do anyways. Mind you, who knows how common exotics will be from doing the story. Probably only two or three.

2 RepliesDuring the development process there underwent a serious change that forced them to write over previous builds. This limits what they can still do with Destiny as of now. This means no more vault space, no ship races or space battles, none of the community's wonderful ideas. They only have the capacity to finish their already planned DLC. Sorry to disappoint :(

With my three characters I swap my gear between them as I play them and if you carry one weapon of each damge type ie fire arc and void for each group pri spc and hvy then there isnt enough space. It would be nice if engrams went to their own tab when we carry them out away from the vault and let only usable weapons take the weapon slots. Vault needs better separation of certain items ie mats either get seperate tab or they stack big like armor (3 types there) and weapon parts . What be best is one tab hold mats and armor and one sep tab for just weapons. And for ammo synth we should get stackables ie buy in lots of 20 but stack in one slot all the bought synth saves on inventory storage. OH OH OH ... I just thought of the cryptach and the decode process ... when we decode like items they are stacked so why cant we stack engrams ... spc storage that allows engrams to stack for each type of engram.

If i was still with only my titan i say the vault has enough space, BUT i have warlock and hunter now it gets a bit thight at the moment. I think there should be enough space in the vault to keep every legendary and exotic weapon that there is in the game, same for gear.

I've already found a way around that all you need to do is create a new character when your vault is full then store the items on that character then if you want to use the you just put them in the vault for your main character!

1 ReplyBump, we need unlimited vault space, why trow us a lot of great exotic weapons and armor if we have to sell them or trow them away? "Oh, you'll get better armor so trow away the other" no, I want to collect the things I work hard for. Please Bungie, Deej, who ever is reading this from the developers, make the vault unlimited to us.

I've never been a man to collect things I'm not going to use, why have tons and tons of weapons in the vault if you're not going to use it, it'll just be glimmer that could be used to get better stuff. TL;DR Don't keep glimmer in the vault.

I like the idea of a clan vault. Add good weapons / armor that is too good to dismantle, but not as good as what you are currently wearing. Creates teamwork and comradery. Also, nice surprise when you log in and go to the tower and find a better weapon in the clan vault to trade!

Well keep the exotics you actually use and dismantle the one's that are just taking up space. Like if i got bad juju as my first exotic (pulse rufle) I would never use it because i hate those and would probably dismantle it next time I got an exotic weapon.

IMO Limited Space = having to pick and choose = more personal value to each item. Which ones are more important to the individual, instead of "everyone has one". Some people might keep the first Gun that helped them beat a particularly difficult boss, others will be all about min/maxing. I would like limited space, that will expand over time in sequels.

Yes please do not make this like borderlands. You had to get rid of the story weapons to make room for other guns.

If weapons where rarer occurences than the vault would be adequate but sincethey are very easy to find and i am constanty collecting them the vault should be extended #Feedback #Weapons

I am kinda on the side of this one. Wants more room, but thinks what if I dismantle these legendary weapons and gear. Could I get legendary parts to make even more mythical weapons or gear?

For the people like me that collect cool weapons and armor i can fill it in a few days and with just one character. For a game with hundreds of great items 20 a type is like not having one at all.

Yeah it's hardly enough. Across 3 characters its gonna be horrible having to delete exotic gear because I'm out of space
