If you guys were around during the Halo Reach days youll remember all the complaining about the Credit currency daily limits and also the xp daily limits. Credits were used to unlock cosmetic armour mods but with the daily limit in play it was theoretically impossible to purchase the more expensive mods unless you farmed till you hit the daily cap every day for a few months straight. Im dreading the day of release, logging onto Destiny and seeing some form of limit or cap enabled. Whether its an xp cap to stop people leveling too far, or some form of currency limit to stop people farming glimmer or marks or even reputation points. I personally am against any form of cap or arbitrary limit. If people want to farm glimmer or xp all day and night then they should be allowed to. It makes no sense locking people behind some stupid barrier that has no purpose other than to slow you down.
I'm not sure if there was a cap on vanguard marks, but even without a cap the rate of acquiry for vanguard seals was terrible in the beta. As was the rate for earning rep. I had one character at 60 vanguard marks and halfway to rank 2 when the beta ended.
