I think the amount of people in general should be raised to six across all game modes. Three people is not really a Fireteam six on the other hand, can be called a Fireteam.
Besides it would give people the ability to fight with the same people they fight in the crucible or on raids with.

Agreed. It sucks that you're able to get together with 5 friends for the crucible, but then you have to ditch 3 of them if you want to do something else.

I don't mind the fireteam cap being 3 but it sucks when you have a lot of friends that want to play together. I think they should make it so a fireteam can create an alliance with up to two more fireteams so you can work together and communicate with a larger group. It would allow more team work, strategy, and they could scale the difficulty for much more challenging scenarios. I think the main issue with small fireteams is that all 3 members are forced to run around like Rambo instead of working together as a team and if all 3 members do stay close together then you lose out on different strategies and it makes the game less fun and less challenging.

I see what you mean but at that point wouldn't it just be easier to have have Fireteams be six or nine people? I don't see them implementing nine. But hey you never know right?

I agree.

I agree with this too, no way is it a fire team with only three, it atleast has to he six
-
Exactly, If they are going to keep it at Three it may as well be called a support team. haha
-
Naaaa, call it three amigos

I agree, I feel that it helps make the game more social.
