I honestly don't have an issue with it. They're giving everyone who's in the area a change to earn items, if someone's been grinding an area and killing everything before you got there to put a bullet in the enemy you'd be a little upset. If the drops of items worked by whoever got the killing blow on enemy gets loot than it wouldn't be very fair considering anyone can swoop in and steal your kill. I think the way loot drops is fine. As for pvp, I believe the way loot drops is so everyone has a chance at getting something good, not everyone is a star player and everyone has those days where you just can't do good. I think that the top player should at least receive something for being star player. I like how everyone has an equal chance at getting loot.

they could make the pve fair by giving anyone that puts in damage a fair chance at drop. i think its insane that i can kill 100+ beasts in a strike mission and the guy with 10 kills gets all the drops. while all he does is run in circles occasionally popping a shot off and dying a dozen times.

Edited by Nova: 7/29/2014 8:12:14 PMAnother thing is, some enemies are pretty easy to kill. Once you have a decent weapon you can't take anyone out in seconds. Other players aren't gonna have much time to put one shot into and enemy when you can take them out with ease on your own.

Yea, but say something came up and you had to put the controller down for a bit, wouldn't you like to come back with some loot on the table for you. I get where you're coming at but I believe everyone should have an equal chance wether they helped out or not. I don't think a new player who didn't know what he was doing would have a good time while everyone else collects their loot and he got nothing because he's not contributing as much.

deej himself said loot should reward action. and the way the mechanic is, it does not.
